Medecins du Monde Turkey (MDM-T) / Dünya Doktorları Dernegi (DDD) is a Turkish based humanitarian non-governmental organisation that facilitates access to healthcare for populations affected by armed conflict, violence, natural disasters, disease, famine, poverty and exclusion.
Our organization collaborates with partners and key stakeholders to implement projects that facilitate access to primary and secondary-level healthcare services to respond to the medical needs of displaced population.
DDD is the 16th member of the Doctors of the World International Network that is committed to meeting the health needs of vulnerable people globally.

Knowledge & Qualification
At least a high school diploma.
Experience
Desirable one years of previous experience and previous experience in medical NGO’s
Languages
· Required: Arabic (oral and written)
· Preferred: English
IT & Equipment
· Good proficiency with Microsoft package
Intellectual & Physical
· He has no mobility disability
Capacity Building
· He has a desire to develop his own abilities.
· Attending medical courses
Closeness to beneficiaries
· Experience in dealing with Beneficiaries.

· High level in communication ways with Beneficiaries.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Community Engagement & Awareness Raising
· Develop health awareness and empower individuals, groups and organisations on healthy choices.
· Ensure that protection components are sensitized in health awareness activities under the guidance of Protection Officer (PSEA).
· Perform outreach in collaboration with the medical team for highly vulnerable population, if required.
· Develop and support local partnerships to broaden the local response to health inequalities.
· Provide specialist advice and resources to other agencies, such as service providers, schools and local communities.
· Ensure that work is underpinned by sound, up-to-date knowledge of health promotion theory and make sure that projects are based on evidence of effectiveness.
· Lobby for increased recognition of preventative and promotional measures that can take place at a population level and which have a positive impact on the health of a community .
· Coordinate with other stakeholders working on the same area.
· Propose initiative to improve awareness and behaviour change methods.
· Conduct a quick health screening to orient the patient to suitable medical service.
· Support the development of the gender sensitive communication and stakeholder engagement plan with the support of the CHW Manager, and Protection Officer (PSEA).
· Conduct community assessments.
· Ensure community participation includes the most vulnerable and marginalized groups.
Case Identification and Referrals
· Support the CHW Manager to ensure that all community focal points, service providers and related stakeholders are aware of criteria and processes for identification and registration of cases eligible for assessment and referrals
· Undertake rapid and detailed assessment for protection cases
· Prepare intervention plans and case summaries for cases following detailed assessment
· Provide case follow-up until cases can responsibly and appropriately be closed in collaboration with the case.
· Record relevant assessment, intervention plan, and follow up information in related DDD database in a timely fashion
· Collect and update information on services available and actors in North West Syria.
· Adhere to the standards of conduct outlined in the Programme Participant Protection Policy and DDD Code of Conduct.
Training Needs Identification
· Identify training needs arising from strategic and local agendas.
Reporting
· Design and produce leaflets, posters, videos and brochures to aid health promotion in different environments.
· Report daily activity through established tool.
· Provide a mission report and/or handover document at the end of contract.
Other related tasks
· Any other related DDD tasks as assigned by supervisor/line manager.

Promote and encourage a culture of compliance and ethics throughout Dünya Doktorları Derneği. As applicable to the position, maintains a clear understanding of Dünya Doktorları Derneği and donor compliance and ethics standards and adheres to those standards. Conducts work with the highest level of integrity. Communicates these values to staff and to partners and requires them to adhere to these values.

Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within Dünya Doktorları Derneği and amongst beneficiaries served by Dünya Doktorları Derneği.
